Opening Range Levels

Draws the session's opening-range high and low — the first minutes after the open — clean, labeled, and yours to edit.

The opening range is the high and low of the first few minutes after the session opens. This indicator measures that window, draws the two levels, and holds them across the rest of the session, with an optional midpoint drawn halfway between them. The window length and session anchor are yours to set.

It draws levels and labels them — nothing more. There are no arrows, no alerts, and no calls on which way price will go from here. Once the opening-range window closes, the high and low are fixed for the day and don’t shift on historical bars. What you do with the levels is up to you.

What it shows

  • The opening-range high and low as horizontal levels, held across the session.
  • An optional midpoint line, drawn halfway between the range high and low.
  • Once the window closes, the high and low are fixed for the session and never change on historical bars.
